Do I need a permit for my dormer or extension?
That depends on the location, the dimensions and your municipality's rules. Many rear extensions and dormers are permit-free under certain conditions, but the municipal environment plan (omgevingsplan) can add extra rules. We check it for your address before you spend any money.
How long does a permit application take?
Under the regular procedure, the municipality decides within 8 weeks of receiving a complete application. It may extend this once by 6 weeks. A complete application avoids delays caused by requests for extra documents.
What does a building drawing or structural calculation cost?
That depends on the size of the project, whether drawings already exist, whether a permit is needed and whether you change the load-bearing structure. That is why you always get a tailored quote first, within 48 hours.
Can I order just one service?
Yes. You can order only drawings, only a calculation or only the permit application. Or leave everything to us, so you have one point of contact for the whole process.
Do you also work for contractors and developers?
Yes. Contractors hire us for structural calculations and working drawings; developers and property owners for design, feasibility and permits.
Do you submit the permit application as well?
Yes. With your authorisation we submit the application through the national Omgevingsloket portal and answer the municipality's questions while it is being assessed.
What do you need from me to get started?
The project address, a short description of your plan and, if you have them, photos and existing drawings. A sketch on paper is fine too.
